As if that wasn’t enough Mshoza’s ex-boyfriend, Anele Ngcongca gave up the ghost during a car accident just four days after Mshoza’s death. the previous Mamelodi Sundowns defender was only 33 years old when the car accident claimed his life within the early hours of Monday, 23 November in KZN. consistent with reports, Anele was set to hitch AmaZulu (on loan from Sundowns), a Durban-based soccer club, and was traveling to finalize his agreement when the accident happened.

A policeman told Eye Witness News news that Anele lost his life on the scene and a case of culpable homicide has been opened. “It’s alleged that this morning, at 5 am, a vehicle with two occupants lost control and overturned on the N2 freeway near Mtunzini. A 33-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. the driving force sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for medical attention. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation. A case of culpable homicide has been opened for investigation by Mtunzini SAPS.”

Meanwhile Anele’s sister, Siyasanga Ngcongca took to Twitter to thank everyone for his or her support and confirmed that Anele’s funeral will happen on Thursday, 3 December in Gugulethu, Cape Town.
