South African musician, AKA, has departed on a tirade once more and this point he’s bashing his industry peers.

The rapper, who is close to dropping his Bhovamania merch seemed to be touched when fans noticed that his ex-girlfriend, Bonang Matheba, was supporting his arch-nemesis, Cassper Nyovest’s upcoming Any Minute Now merch drop.

Following an Instagram story shared by Bonang which showed her receiving a package from Cassper’s genealogy store, Tweeps began questioning why none of his celebrity friends have advocated for his upcoming merch drop. AKA stated, “I don’t need the support of celebrities to achieve success in ANYTHING I do … they don’t buy shit, you do.”

He went on to reveal that he doesn’t hang with any celebrities in his free time and doesn’t search for them to market his stuff as his work speaks for its self. “I don’t hang around in their cliques … I don’t attend their houses, attend their Lil parties & dinners because when it involves “celebrity” culture during this country, I’m the alpha and therefore the O-MEGA.”


He assured fans that the sole approval or promotion he needs comes from his Legacy, which won’t be changing any time soon. “YOU ARE ALL I want. I’m THE ANTI CELEBRITY CELEBRITY.”

Whilst AKA didn’t directly discuss Cassper or Bonang, many questioned him on why he chooses to reply to the drama and subtweet about his enemies all the time. His fans that he asked to specialize in his personal merch drop and not worry about anything.

AKA confirmed that he is going to be dropping his merch this October, and can cater to both men and ladies. He has advised fans to check in to the list in the order that they’re first to understand when the gathering drops. The rapper has previewed the pieces within a previous couple of weeks and has even used his girlfriend, Nelli Tembe, together of his models.
