The series will air on M-Net DStv channel 101, from Sunday the 4th of October 2020, at 6 pm.

AKA announced on his Instagram yesterday that he will have the honor of taking up the Springboks Instagram channel for the subsequent four weeks to speak about Rugby and therefore the making of the Chasing The Sun documentary. AKA may be a known sports enthusiast and patriot, it’s no surprise that he would be the one to host our boys in green & gold. AKA will have a special guest hebdomadally and his first guest last night was Lukhanyo Am, the cool, calm, and picked up Springbok center.

Gareth Whitaker, the co-executive producer of the documentary stressed the necessity to be authentic while making the film and was honored to be a part of the project while describing it because of the greatest privilege of his life. He promised authenticity and rare insight into the Bok squad as they journeyed to the planet Cup tournament.

“Africa may be a source of the many great stories and it’s our duty to inform these stories,” said Gideon Khobane, SuperSport chief executive and co-executive producer for “Chasing the Sun”. “It was a big gamble making the choice goodbye beforehand to film the team, but we bought into their vision and believed in their ambition. Their victory was a much better story than any scriptwriter could have dared imagine.”

Supa Mega has been a busy man off-late, only recently he announced that he’s able to bless the country together with his Bhovamania album. during a tweet, AKA said the project is complete and he just needs a release date. AKA even released a tracklist of the EP, which caught the interest of Tweeps because there’s a track that looks like is devoted to his long-time rival Cassper Nyovest.

“The project is complete. Mixed. Mastered. Everything. All that I want now are our release date,”

As much as fans were happy that Supa Mega would be the one hosting this Chasing The Sun series on Instagram, many were more curious about him actually announcing the discharge date for his album.

We look forward to seeing the documentary on Sunday and AKA’s weekly Instagram takeovers, maybe he will announce the discharge date on there.
