Internationally acclaimed and award-winning artist Shekhinah’s Rosefest returned for its second edition yesterday the 11th of October in partnership with the amount one youth station YFM.

Rosefest 2020 – Power to She! is proud to play its part in seeking actionable change within the music and artistic industries. this is often while being mindful of and exploring the context they work and make in. Shekinah shared her thoughts on her brainchild.

Shekinah was excited to share the day’s major headline acts on her Twitter account, including Ami Faku, Boity, Darkie Fiction, Msaki, Busiswa, Holly Rey and Simmy took the stage.

The ever-so humble Ami Faku was overjoyed by the love she receives from her fans, she expressed her gratitude when one fan Tweeted that he is going to be tuning in to the Rosefest due to her. Ami Faku is certainly one among Mzansi’s most talented vocalists/songwriters and it comes as no surprise that she was on the lineup.

Boity also graced the event together with her first performance as a part of the second annual “Rose Fest”, this past weekend alone the busy rapper/media personality was booked for four different live performances.

Simmy also gave a stellar performance as was common and she or he looked amazing in her natural hair and semi-traditional outfit, known for working closely with award-winning artist, Sun El Musician when Simmy performs live, fans fall crazy together with her |along with her”> together with her everywhere again because she gives it her all and engages with her audience.

Another powerful vocalist to serenade us for the evening was Holly Rey, the Durban-born singer who produced smash hits Deeper and You is making waves within the industry as she deserves! Her new-found mainstream success has been an extended time coming for the bubbly star who began her music career quite a decade ago.

Arguably the simplest performance for the night visited Busiswa, the star has worked on countless music collaborations within the country and abroad, having worked with Beyonce on her visual album Black Is King also. It comes as no surprise that Rose Fest attendees loved her energetic performance.
