Regé-Jean was born in 1990 in North London and he’s a British-Zimbabwean actor. Regé didn’t spend tons of his childhood in England though as at a really young age he moved to his mother’s native Zimbabwe where he spent his youth before moving back to the united kingdom at the age of 14.

The actor also touched on his infancy days, explaining how growing up in several cultures shaped his perspective, most notably his idea of home. “Home may be a relative concept,” he told Interview magazine.
“Home is extremely much wherever it’s that your people are and where you slot in .” In a number of his recent on-screen appearances, he has played the role of Chicken George within the 2016 miniseries Roots and from 2018 to 2019 was a daily cast member on the ABC legal drama For the People.”
