His death has been rocked by tons of controversy and conspiracy theories. However, it’s emerged that there are a variety of events that occurred before the tragic incident happened. newssa1 has established that Ginimbi didn’t want to attend Moana’s birthday celebration at the Dream Nightclub as he wasn’t feeling well on the day.

Ginimbi’s aunt only identified as Gogo Kadungure who spoke to an area publication H-Metro following her nephew’s tragic death revealed that Ginimbi wanted to remain home as he was unwell but forced himself to attend the party.

“Genius was one person who did not want to disappoint his friends and that forced him to overlook his feelings about leaving Domboshava,”

“Ndakapedzisira kutaura naye kuma 6pm manheru achiti aingonzwa kurukutika muviri wake achipera simba zvekuti akambofunga kurega kuenda kubhawa,” said Gogo Kadungure.

Gogo Kadungure believes that if Ginimbi had listened to his gut feeling he might still be alive today.

“He later decided to leave and I wish if he had followed his conscience we would not be at this horrible scene.”

“Genius also told me his plans to organize a memorial service for his late mother on the 5th of December this year but hey zvaramba.

“He will sadly be missed by the family, Domboshava community, and his friends in business,” said Gogo Kadungure in tears.

One of the bouncers identified only as Simbi claims that the police tried to prevent the birthday celebration on a minimum of three different occasions. However, the merrymakers resumed the party nevertheless. Little did they know that this was getting to be the last party for a few.

“I was among the guests celebrating Mimi’s birthday and on three occasions police raided the place and forced it to close but the party continued.

“Mapurisa vakauya vakasunga vanhu vakanobhadhariswa fines vakavharisa mutambo katatu asi pakavhurwa mufaro akapfuurira mberi,” he said.

Simbi also revealed that this was also the primary time for Ginimbi to go away from the club at 5 am as he was within the habit of leaving the pub at 2 am whenever he goes partying.

“Genius normally leaves the pub around 2 am but this is the first time he left at around 5 am. He was visibly drunk and had it not been for the fact that he was not comfortable letting other people drive his car, it was best for him not to drive,” he said.

Meanwhile, condolence messages are pouring in from in and out of doors Zimbabwe. Ginimbi goes to be buried on Saturday at his mansion in Domboshava.
