Radio host and DJ Lerato Kganyago have been making waves in her effort to assist female pupils across SA have access to sanitary pads.

The Metro FM host has begun her 2021 with a beacon of hope together with her beauty label Flutterby LKG. the corporate aims to empower women across SA and eradicate “period poverty”.

Taking to Instagram, the starlet her fans know that she is back to the grind and prepared to deliver thereupon LKG class!

The media personality also showed us that albeit we are only a couple of days into the New Year, this hasn’t stopped her from assisting girls across SA to possess access to sanitary products.

Posting snaps of her work on Twitter, the star said that the aim is to finish the devastation that a scarcity of access to pads has had on people that menstruate.

“Millions can’t afford to take care of menstrual health. We’re fortunate to be ready to play a task within the eradication of period poverty in SA, one home at a time,” tweeted Lerato.

The star is hooked to her cause. Last year, Lerato called out people that have the platforms to talk out against the injustice of period poverty but don’t roll in the hay since it doesn’t fit their “aesthetics”.

“Sanitary pads don’t get you drunk or high, aren’t glamorous, or fit into the aesthetics on your page, that’s why a number of you think that what we do maybe a joke. But, for many South Africans, it’s not — period poverty are some things which many struggles with as a part of their lives!

“And yet is it something very easy to repair,” wrote Lerato.
