Master KG is proud of his victory as the best ever due to his last song
A big congratulations to Master KG for winning the simplest African Act at the MTV European Music Awards (EMA’s) which were persisted Sunday, the 8th of November.
His international hit song Jerusalema featuring the vocalist Nomcebo won him this award.
He thanked his legions of supporters around the world for creating his victory possible. Artists who were up for the award are South African Amapiano duo DJ Maphorisa and Kabza de Small, Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Rema, Uganda’s songstress Sheebah and Gaz Mawete from the DRC.
The musician appreciated his fans during his acceptance speech saying his win wouldn’t are possible if it weren’t for them.
“I would like to thank each and each person out there, everywhere the planet, for creating this possible. I just won the simplest African Act at the MTV EMA’s. I might like to thank my sister Nomcebo Zikode, my team at Open Mic Productions. Everyone who is behind Master KG, many thanks guys so much! To my fans all around the world, without you I do not think this is able to be possible, ” he thanked his fans.

Minister of Sports, Arts, And Culture in South Africa made Nomcebo and Master KG ambassadors to the planet after their hit song put SA on the map.
He took to Twitter to congratulate the 2, “We are exceptionally pleased with our ambassadors, @MasterKGsa, and @Nomcebozikode! Your patriotism shall go down the annals of history. still devour the fallen spears of your predecessors in representing our motherland in such a unifying and unprecedented manner.
His win was met with praises from fans who have handed the year 2020 to him. Many of the industry mates have congratulated Master KG for his big win.
An equally integral part of the making of the song, Nomcebo congratulated Master KG by saying, “Congrats Choma @MasterKGsa for winning the simplest African act at the MTV EMA. I’m so pleased with you my friend, here’s to several more.”
The producer shared two more milestones in his career, before scoring himself this EMA. First, he’s featured at favorite on a UK Top Ten music chart, beating fellow Africans like WizKid, Davido, and Burna Boy. Master KG and therefore the Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy have worked on collaboration before and remixed Master KG’s hit song, Jerusalem.
“The advantages of working with him include that he has reached A level I’m still working towards, so featuring him will expose me to tons of individuals, including his market, which is clearly bigger than mine. people that didn’t know me will get to understand me more.”
He also scored himself another international nomination for the NRJ Music Awards 2020. This year does belong to Master KG indeed!
