Moana is in a family struggle that she hopes will end
It hasn’t been long ago she passed on but her life is already clouded with drama, consistent with Tatenda Amuli who is Mitchelle “Moana” Amuli’s sister, has stated that the 2 sides to Moana’s family cannot seem to ascertain eye-to-eye regarding her burial. Moana’s families haven’t been ready to put their differences aside and facilitate an honest burial for her, the father’s side of the family is reported to be fighting for superiority within the arrangement of burial plans, much to the dismay of the mother’s side.
The socialite’s father each day after her death revealed that he had separated from Moana’s mother when Moana was still a toddler. He also hadn’t seen Moana in nearly over a year.
Moana’s already concluded burial plans had to be replanned recently after a relative from her paternal side decided to halt the issuing of the burial order. Despite the daddy not being present in her life that much, after it emerged that he separated from Moana’s mother when Moana was still a toddler. the daddy argued that, because the father, he had a right to be involved within the whole process including DNA tests that were conducted without his prior knowledge, despite haven’t seen Moana a year ago.
In a blunt interview, one among Moana’s relatives on the paternal side said the opposite side of the family were trying to steal Moana. during a statement, she said.
“They wanted to require our daughter without our knowledge, due to social media they were showing their stupidity and that we acknowledged through our relatives what they were doing then we poured sand thereon (Spoilt their plans).”
In a previous interview Mitchelle ‘Moana’ Amuli’s father had said this about his relationship together with his daughter:
“In 2017, Mitchelle had problems together with her husband, who came to drop their child in Domboshava. Mitchelle later came to select her daughter and that I sat down together with her, telling her that I wasn’t proud of her behavior. I heard tons about my daughter that she had become a celebration animal and was featured in several music videos. I got angry and slapped her twice and she or he left home permanently.
“Last year I saw her, but we never talked much. I’m a Muslim and what she was doing was against our religion. Now how do I tell my elders at church and the way will she be buried? We are now at her mother’s house in Highfield because I didn’t fully pay lobola for her mother. I still owe in-laws, but that’s a story for an additional day”
Moana including the opposite victims that were involved in the horrific accident was so badly burnt beyond recognition that their funerals had to be halted so as for correct DNA tests to be conducted. Ginimbi, the famous socialite was the sole victim that was identifiable within the horrific crash because he was hurled out of the car upon impact and his remains were intact. the opposite occupants of the cars, Mitchelle ‘Moana’ Amuli, Lumumba Karim Cazal, and Alichia Adams were finally concluded over the past few days and released to the CID Forensic department by the National University of Science and Technology’s (NUST) Applied Genetic Testing Center.
Ginimbi was laid to rest on Saturday, the 14th of November but his friends couldn’t be buried with an equivalent dignity, because of DNA collected from the opposite 3 occupants. Tatenda, the younger sister of the late socialite and brand ambassador posted the subsequent emotional message on her Instagram:
“Michelle Amuli a socialite/fitness trainer affectionately referred to as Moana is going to be laid to rest on Thursday, 19 November 2020
She died within the early hours of 8 November 2020 after attending her birthday celebration alongside Ginimbi and a couple of foreign friends. The Rolls Royce they were traveling in collided with a Honda Fit along Borrowdale Road, in Harare, Zimbabwe.
She was just beginning her public profile and was a promising video actress, model, fitness trainer, socialite. Her life stopped prematurely before she reached her full potential. an excellent LOSS. she is going to be sorely missed. Rest in peace Moana, you’re irreplaceable. a very wonderful person, our Beautiful Beast”
