While the explanation for death has not been confirmed, fans have taken to social media to pay their respects.

Just last month, Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Anele Ngcongca also sadly gave up the ghost following a tragic car accident. The 33-year-olds passing comes to a couple of days after the passing of his former lover Kwaito star Mshoza, real name Nomasonto Maswanganyi.

Eye Witness News confirmed that the athlete lost his life during the first hours of Monday morning, 23 November 2020. A policeman told the publication that Anele lost his life on the scene and a case of culpable homicide has been opened.

“It’s alleged that this morning, at 5 am, a vehicle with two occupants lost control and overturned on the N2 freeway near Mtunzini. A 33-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. the driving force sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for medical attention. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation. A case of culpable homicide has been opened for investigation by Mtunzini SAPS.”

On 19 November, the country awakened to the shocking news of the passing of Mshoza. The Kortez hitmaker was said to be living with Diabetes and she or he was diagnosed in 2014. Mshoza succumbed to the disease within the early hours of Thursday morning, at a Johannesburg hospital.

Announcing the death of Mshoza, her management confirmed she lost her life thanks to an illness. Sunday World Journalist, Nokuthula Zwane tweeted;

“According to an in-depth friend, she had been rushed to hospital a couple of weeks ago but was later ‘discharged. Details of the explanation for death remains unclear. The 37-year-old, mother of two had been ill and diagnosed with diabetes. ”

According to a politician’s statement from her management, Mshoza dies in her sleep.

“It is with great sadness to announce the untimely death of Nomasonto “Mshoza” Maswanganyi. The Kortes hitmaker succumbed peacefully within the early hours of this (Thursday) morning. She was 37. she is going to be deeply missed as an ultimate entertainer who loved being on stage. Not only did she radiate star quality, but Mshoza was also a media darling.”

The two popular personalities were once smitten and in love but many were quite shocked to seek out out about their relationship. This was because Mshoza was fresh out of an abusive marriage, while Anele had just called it quits together with his partner of nine years and mother of his child.

They spoke to Drum magazine about their union, with Mshoza saying Anele was the one for her and therefore the athlete saying respect is one among the key aspects that make him love Mshoza.

Speaking about Anele, the Kortes hitmaker told the publication: “It feels right, he’s the one. It feels right this point .”

Fast forward a couple of months later, they announced their split because the baby mama, Linda Racaza came back to the image. Also, the Ayina Chorus hitmaker confessed that she was still madly in love together with her ex-husband Thuthukani Mvula.

Various publications including News 24, also allege that she miscarried Anele’s baby and it had been caused by stress.
