Ntsiki Mazwai sorry to Lady Zamar
Ntsiki Mazwai is currently in the middle of a media storm because the social media streets share their varying opinions on her. The acclaimed poet recently revealed that the rape accusations which she had leveled against media veteran, DJ Fresh, were actually false.
The revelation led to DJ Fresh to allegedly seek action against Ntsiki Mazwai for falsely accusing him. But the matter took on a lifetime of its own when women suggested that one false story doesn’t change the very fact that South Africa is one among the most important rape capitals within the world, therefore the story of 1 “made up” story doesn’t negate the thousands of true rape stories.
This is how #SueUsAll was born; from women taking a stand and suggesting if action is taken against Ntsiki Mazwai than sue all women that have accused men of rape until they’re proven guilty. it had been this epiphany that led to Ntsiki apologizing to Lady Zamar on Twitter for suggesting that she lied about her accusations about her ex, Sjava.
You should be ashamed of this headline @SundayWorldZA. The use of words is violent. I want to see the content of the story tomorrow, but if this is how you’re selling it then there is a problem. A man klap’ing & dragging a woman at a time when GBV is rife?! Do better. #SueUsAll pic.twitter.com/j57PuS5aGO
