Omega Khunou and his wife thank the Lord for having a baby

Gospel star Omega Khunou (39) can’t even find the words to precise how he feels after welcoming his son, Reaboka Praise, into the planet on 28 July. Omega and wife Kea (36), who is married for 11 years, is praying to God for a toddler. “We suffered four miscarriages in our marriage. it had been really tough,” he says.

But the worshipper in him wouldn’t let him contribute the towel. “I wrote worship songs, performed on stages, touched people’s lives – yet at an equivalent time I used to be sharing my very own testimony and that I was also encouraging myself,” Omega says. Throughout the pain, he “constantly assured my wife that it had been getting to be fine. The love and support we shared for every other kept us strengthened”.

A year ago Omega and his ally, the late Neyi Zimu, released Yehla Nkosi which now has over 1,6 million views on YouTube. “My wife was six months pregnant and that we were so excited but weeks later, she lost the baby. it had been tough,” he says.

When Neyi passed on, Omega was shattered. Two days after the passing of somebody he considered a brother, they acknowledged Kea was pregnant again. “It was really scary because Neyi was family so I used to be unsure of how she would cope throughout the pregnancy during such an emotional time. But God had other plans. We are so grateful,” he tells Move!.

It is only each day since he shared the news together with his social-media followers and already testimonies are pouring in. “I get messages from people and couples who have skilled it. it’s given me a way of purpose to revive hope into their situations,” he adds.
