Rowlene’s music career is on an upward trajectory and there’s nobody more deserving. The musician recently released her new single “Stop” from her forthcoming album 11:11 which is about to be released via Tall Racks Records on 13 November.

The label is owned by multi-award winning rapper Nasty C. The 23-year-old sultry artist from Cape Town is saying her spot within the music scene together with her unmatched vocal prowess, distinct tone, and fearless persona.

Rowlene has been building her craft and climbing the charts by collaborating with various noteworthy names. The musician is not any stranger to singing growing up Rowlene had a liking for music and she or he has since become a household name together with her catchy vocals.

Now she makes a calculated step with the discharge of her album that’s primed to shake up the industry.

Rowlene hails from Elsies River, Cape Town, she is that the middle child and only girl within the family. The musician attended Valhalla grade school and JE Klopper grade school where she sang soprano within the school choir.

Rowlene says she started performing on the album last year and she or he felt it had been fitting to release it this year. The musician says she is certainly owning her throne with this album.

“I have always been performing on good music and that I had tons of songs that I had to chop down, this year was an excellent opportunity on behalf of me since also we are on lockdown so I had such a lot time to plan for its release,” she explains.

“I feel the music should represent itself, comments Rowlene. “It’s been an extended time coming and that we are finally here. I wanted my album to be a compilation of a playlist that I could hear also because the next person then the method to curate the songs was meticulous and diligent.”

The musician has solidified herself together as South Africa’s hottest women in RnB and she or he says her entire experience within the music industry has been a roller-coaster ride.

“It has been a rollercoaster, there are bad times and good times I even have learned tons and that I have grown tons which is basically amazing”

The musician has collaborated with Nasty on numerous projects and she or he says working with him is nothing in need of amazing.

“It is basically dope, he’s really professional and he’s a genius.”
