Sadness hangs over the air grief over the departure of the beautiful Mshoza
As family, friends, and fans of the late kwaito star Mshoza prepare to mention their final farewell to her, the small print of her memorial and funeral services are released.
Mshoza, real name Nomasonto Maswanganyi, died last Thursday, aged 37.
Close friend and fellow celebrity Khanyi Mbau shared a billboard with the small print so those that want to bid farewell to the star skills and where to try to do so.
The star’s memorial service will happen on Wednesday, November 25, in Newtown from 9 am.
The funeral service will happen on Saturday, November 28, at the House of Treasures Ministries in Rispark, Johannesburg.
Mshoza is going to be buried at Westpark Cemetery in Montgomery Park.
TshisaLIVE has also been informed that thanks to Covid-19, the services are going to be live-streamed on YouTube in order that Mshoza’s thousands of fans who might need to mention their goodbyes can do so virtually.
Speaking to Sowetan on Thursday after the news of her death, Mshoza’s manager of 11 years Thanduxolo Jindela, said she was rushed to hospital on Wednesday afternoon.
“She had been living with diabetes for an extended time and she or he was treating it,” Jindal said.
“We were obviously keeping it out of the media that she was hospitalized yesterday [Wednesday]. Remember, there’s Mshoza that everybody loves and knows. Then there’s Nomasonto and she or he didn’t like such things to be known.”
Mshoza is survived by her two children, Pride, and Jacob Jnr, also as two sisters.
