Actress Sivenathi Mabuya, popularly referred to as Xolile on e.tv’s popular drama Scandal! recently took to Instagram to embrace her body.

Sive, who hardly shows off her body found some courage to celebrate her uniqueness.

“This body has been through a lot!” She shared. “Some imperfections you see, some you don’t but trust me… they’re there. However, they’re not there for you to tease or have an opinion about; they’re there to reveal my identity and uniqueness.”

We are here for black women celebrating their and embracing their image and being unapologetic about it.

“Sometimes I’m proud of it, sometimes I’m not. Even so, this is often it. altogether it’s glory!” She continued. “And the older I buy, the more I realize how OKAY it’s that I’m not perfect. So let’s rather marvel over/at it.”

Seeing a name like Sive fully embracing who she is and not hiding anything will hopefully encourage more and more people to like themselves more. We’re living during a social media era and one among its disadvantages is that bullies hide behind their keypads.

The 27-year-old rising star was born in Cape Town but grew up in East London. Sive is the daughter of a pastor and grew up during a very strict household.

Although she ended up as an actress, she studied PR but didn’t complete her degree because acting called her.

To our surprise, another popular e.tv Scandal! actress Pasi Koetle also opened about being insecure about her body. “Fun fact: I don’t like wearing shorts because I’m a touch insecure about my thighs.” She revealed. “I feel they have a touch more toning.”
