The award-winning jazzman is functioning on her upcoming album and can feature the multi-talented Idols SA judge. Describing the experience as ‘out of his comfort zone’, Somizi shared the news on his Instagram page alongside pictures of the 2 of them hard at work.

“Yesterday this friend of mine Judith Sephuma put me out my temperature as I’ve never been put before in my entire career. She asked me to collaborate together with her on a song for her upcoming album. Jesu (Jesus) my stomach was in knots all session. She was so patient and caring throughout and training me all the way.”

Somizi added that he doesn’t know what Judith saw in him to trust him on her project, but he’s grateful.

“I do not know what u see in me for u to trust me on your project but God bless your heart. Now as I nervously await the ultimate product …” he added.

Somgaga first made his debut within the music scene within the 2000s but went into other industries like dance, film, reality TV, and culinary.

Sharing equivalent sentiments, Judith Sephuma also took to her social media to thank Somizi for being there for her.

“Yesterday was so amazing. Some came through. many thanks, my friend. I really like you for years, for days, and every one of it. I’m surrounded by greatness. All this is often God’s grace and mercy. Tomorrow is another amazing friend of mine,” she wrote.

In 2017, Somizi released a gqom track titled Ngibonile featuring DJ and producer Heavy K. This was his comeback but disappeared from then also.

Despite getting backlash from people that complain about Somgaga taking “all the jobs”, he received some good wishes from followers including his good friend Shawn Mkhize who also added he’s blessed beyond measure.
