Somizi respects Rasta’s Painting of his Mom Mary Twala and thanks to him
After Somizi Mhlongo announced the passing of his mum on Saturday many anticipated Rasta to try to what he does best, paint celebrities who have passed shortly after it’s announced.

He doesn’t only paint those that have left us, however, he tasks himself to color famous people. Somgaga appreciated the type gesture and shared the photographs of his paintings on social media.

Even though he always gets it wrong, many applaud him for his efforts however, the passing of Mary Twala touched many of us and therefore the wounds are still fresh. Many see Rasta’s painting of the late veteran disrespectful and attention-seeking with a majority calling for him to be canceled.
I’m starting to find Rasta portraits disrespectful a bit as he knows he can’t paint but he still flaunts them around, this not how you honour the passing of someone.(maybe it’s just me) pic.twitter.com/rX6vUmJ59r

Honestly why is Ratsa the artist that is used to paint portraits of legends. Can we please cancel him there are many talented South African artists that are hungry for his position and could do a great job https://t.co/W2XheQNRbq

I used to smoke weed and tweet kak , but if Rasta is smoking weed and do art, I support the movement: #RastaMustFall pic.twitter.com/xBVjYebAQ2
