To mark this special day, the songwriter celebrated a la mode the night before together with her friends within the industry.

Born Bulelwa Mkutukana, Zahara started singing at the tender age of six-years-old. She released her debut album Loliwe in 2011 which went on to interrupt music records within the country. The album went double platinum in only a couple of days, selling over 100 000 copies in South Africa alone. the subsequent year she walked away with eight South African Music Awards including ‘Best Female Artist’ and ‘Album of the Year.’
